About Von der Zwei-Schaeferhaus

Here at Von der Zwei-Schaeferhaus we breed and sell only the highest quality West German show line German Shepherds. We are a small kennel that breeds and imports only a few litters a year. We take our time searching for award winning studs and bitches to ensure that you will be purchasing a dog that is not only show worthy, but highly trainable as well.

We started out with two german shepherds as family pets, hence the name Von der Zwei-Schaeferhaus (of the Two Shepherd House). Our love for the breed lead us down a road that we decided we want to make these fantastic dogs available to other people who also love German Shepherds.

All of our dogs that we breed have been trained by us and have been shown by us!! The puppies we import from Germany come from long lines of WORLD CHAMPION bloodlines and are from well known kennels in Europe. We do this to ensure that your dog meets the SV (German Association for German Shepherds) standard and is an excellent example of the breed. The preservation of the breed standard is very important to us.

We breed strictly by the SV (German Association for German Shepherds) guidelines meaning all of our dogs have a working title (Schutzhund/IPO/IGP) A show title (SG/V/VA), A hip certification from Germany, and a passing Breed survey (KKL). These dogs make fantastic family pets as well as dogs that can be shown around the world, and dogs that can work in different areas such as protection, obedience, tracking and herding.
